Minehead Tourist Information centre has now closed its doors for its annual winter shut down so I just wanted to say thank you to everyone at Minehead for having and supporting Azalea this year and thank you to all of the customers who have supported both Minehead Tourist Information and Azalea this year!

When I first visited Minehead Tourist Information last year with my mum, we popped into the attached museum next door and my mum saw some vintage glass medicine bottles on display from her grandad’s chemist that used to be on Minehead Parade! My mum was really surprised and pleased to see them on display as her family left the Minehead area a long time ago! It is really cool to think a piece of family history is actually on display in a museum! I knew that I had taken a picture last year of the display and I just scrolled back through my photos to find it and discovered that it was the most blurry terrible picture ever! I really should have deleted it and taken another!!

Terrible blurry picture of my Great Grandad’s medicine bottles from his pharmacy on display amongst the other historic objects from the town.

I’m looking forward to bringing Azalea back to Minehead in the Spring next year when they reopen for the Summer season! Have a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year Minehead!
